Thank you all for coming to the Kill Blue stage here at Jump Festa!
Finally—at long last—KILL BLUE is… becoming an anime!
Well, saying “at long last” might be a bit of an exaggeration, but…
Yes, it's becoming an anime!
Is this a little too laid-back? No, this is about right.
Because KILL BLUE was always meant to be a light, easy read.
Even if you brace yourself… nothing crazy is going to happen.
There are no demons, no monsters—none of that.
But there's one thing I really want to point out.
Just because a snack tastes crisp and light doesn't mean the people who make it whipped it up effortlessly.
And KILL BLUE is the same way.
It may feel light and easy to read, but it definitely wasn't created “effortlessly.”
Just look at this amazing staff and cast.
Everyone is giving it their all.
They're working with full power to bring you a light, fun KILL BLUE anime.
So if you can approach it with the same kind of excitement as,
“Hey, my favorite snack is getting a new flavor next year!”
—that level of hype is perfect.
Thanks, and we hope you enjoy the KILL BLUE anime!

Thank you very much to all the readers who have supported us until now. The manga series is coming to an end...but KILL BLUE is offically getting an anime adaptation! In the upcoming series, the old man will spring to life, the sound of ramen being slurped will echo, and even the Home Economics Club will have voices. Describing it out loud makes it hard to tell whether this is something extraordinary or just wonderfully quirky, but either way, it's happening!

The broadcast is scheduled for next year. Until then, the remaining comic volumes will be released, also thinking of doing something on my own. I'm not really sure if it's remarkable or not, but but I hope you'll continue to enjoy KILL BLUE at your own pace and look forward to the anime with gentle anticipation.

COMMENT

Jūzō has the mind of an adult but the body of a child, so at first I thought I might need to do some detective work—but it seems that's not the case! What a relief!
I've often been told I seem a bit older than my age, so I feel a certain kinship with this character.
All of the characters in KILL BLUE are incredibly expressive, and I'm excited to pop in from time to time and watch over their energetic interactions.
Please look forward to KILL BLUE!

COMMENT

A long-held dream of mine to play an old guy has finally come true, and I'm incredibly excited.
I'll be teaming up with Takeuchi-kun as an uncle duo, and we'll do our best together!!
I can't wait to see what kind of KILL BLUE anime we can create alongside this wonderful cast and staff.
Please look forward to the peaceful(?) school life of these vibrant youths… and one middle-aged man.
For now, I'm going to slurp some ramen.

Noren Mitsuoka

Fuka Izumi

COMMENT

I'm Fuka Izumi, and I'm honored to be playing the role of Noren Mitsuoka!
Noren is truly incredible… She's tough, positive, and has such a strong sense of self that you'd never believe she's a middle schooler.
As she spends more time with Jūzō, she begins to show a wider range of emotions, so I hope to portray her honestly and with all the feelings that come naturally.
All of the characters in this series speak and act so candidly that you can't help but grow attached to them.I'm really looking forward to seeing them come to life so vividly in the anime!

Kotatsu Nekota

Shuichiro Umeda

COMMENT

Nice to meet you!
I'm Shuichiro Umeda, and I'll be playing Kotatsu Nekota.
He's Jūzō's reliable partner, his go-to home-cooked-meal “mom,” and very much a Gen Z kid at heart. I'm really looking forward to supporting “Aniki (big bro)” together with Kotatsu!
Thank you all!
Now I'm craving Kotatsu's omurice!

Shin Kohazame

Daisuke Sakuma

COMMENT

I’m Daisuke Sakuma, and I’ll be voicing Shin Kohazame.
I’ve been reading KILL BLUE since it was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, and even back then, my favorite character was Shin Kohazame.
So from the audition, I was determined to land this role. I’m truly thrilled that I was fortunate enough to be chosen to play Shin.
Shin is cool, but also a little strange. He’s serious, but also a little strange. I’m going to pour my heart so I can fully capture those sides of him. Thank you, and I look forward to your support.

Tenma Tendo

Takeo Otsuka

COMMENT

I was thrilled this year watching Shohei Ohtani make his big two-way comeback in Major League Baseball and I never imagined that I would get to play a “three-way” superstar “Unicorn.” I'm truly happy to take on this role.
I'm excited to see what kind of performance Tenma Tendo will deliver in the anime. I'm also very much looking forward to his interactions with the other characters and the overall atmosphere of the series.
Thank you, and please look forward to what's to come!!

Kazuma Rindou

Shoya Chiba

COMMENT

Each and every character feels so lively, and I found myself completely drawn in by the dialogue, which is over-the-top yet still feels genuine! I also love how characters who seemed a bit low-profile at first gradually grow closer over time. There are heartwarming moments throughout, and I even found myself laughing out loud at the jokes. I’m truly happy to be a part of this.
At the same time, as a skilled assassin who reminds Ōgami of his true profession, I want to make sure I can also portray the serious side of the story. His way of speaking is quite distinctive, and I’d like to bring the quirky Kazuma to life in a fun way.

Eiji Rindou

Yoshiki Nakajima

COMMENT

I’m Yoshiki Nakajima, and I’ll be voicing Eiji Rindou.
Personally, I’m not sure I’d want to go back to being a middle schooler, but watching Jūzō enjoy his student life makes me feel just a little bit envious.
The Rindou brothers appear as enemies standing in Jūzō’s way! What kind of fighting style will Eiji use, and what kinds of lines will he deliver…? I’m already looking forward to the recording sessions!Thank you for your support!

Chisato Shiraishi

Atsumi Tanezaki

COMMENT

I'm Atsumi Tanezaki, and I will be voicing Chisato Shiraishi. She's affectionately called “Anego (big sis)” by those around her. As the head of the Home Economics Club, she has a bit of a motherly presence as well. I hope to watch over Jūzō and the others with that same warm perspective.
I hope you enjoy the TV anime KILL BLUE!

Eri Wanibuchi

Yumi Uchiyama

COMMENT

Following the voice comic, I'm truly honored to be involved with KILL BLUE once again!
I'm excited to play Eri Wanibuchi, Jūzō Ōgami's ex-wife, and I hope to bring out the fun and charm in her character!
In addition to the engaging story, the series is full of unique, captivating characters, and I hope everyone looks forward to seeing them in action along with all the dynamic battle scenes!

OPENING THEME「ATTITUDE」

aespa

COMMENT

We're excited to share that aespa has been selected as the opening theme artist for the anime KILL BLUE. The title of the song is "ATTITUDE." We believe the track perfectly matches the fast-paced energy of KILL BLUE. To everyone who's looking forward to the series, we hope you enjoy the world of KILL BLUE together with our opening theme, "ATTITUDE"!

ENDING THEME「KILL SHOT」

RIIZE

COMMENT

Our new song "KILL SHOT" has been selected as the ending theme for the TV anime KILL BLUE.
"KILL SHOT" is a track that captures the world of KILL BLUE, where "the front and the back" and "the ordinary and the extraordinary" intersect. Centered around a rock-inspired sound, the song features aggressive drum beats blended with breakbeats, creating a powerful impact. In the chorus, the melody expands emotionally, deepening the lingering impression of the story.
We hope you enjoy the song along with the anime's story.
